A message from our Middle School Athletic Director
Our Winter II Athletics will begin when we return to school from our holiday break on Monday, January 6. Please see information included in this newsletter for start dates and requirements for Boys Swim and Dive, Girls Basketball, and Wrestling. All physicals and registrations must be completed and approved by December 19.
Hand2Hand - We are nearing the end of our Hand 2 Hand donation collection. This is an effort to raise awareness of the need to support hungry students in our district and our last collection date is November 26.
It is a privilege to serve our incredible Rockford community. Thank you for your continued support of Rockford Athletics! GO RAMS!

Ram Athletes of the Week!
These students stand out amongst their peers with their leadership, integrity, sportsmanship, and responsibility in Rockford Athletics. Congratulations!
Finn P. - NRMS 8th Grade Boys Basketball
Grace E. - Competitive Cheer 8
Grace is always willing to jump in and try different positions and roles on the team. She is a hard worker, dependable, and always has a positive attitude. She always shows up for herself and her team.
Mason O. - NRMS 8th Grade Boys Basketball
Mason is new to basketball this year, and his willingness to learn to get better is off the charts. His work ethic is an awesome thing to see. Great job, Mason!
Brady R. - NRMS 7th Grade Boys Basketball
Brady works extremely hard every day in practice and in games. Brady is an amazing rebounder and defender, who normally guards one of the opponent's top players. Brady is also becoming a weapon on the offensive end of the floor. He shoots it well, handles pressure and is a good finisher at the rim.
Ian G. - ERMS 7th Grade Boys Basketball
Ian is a hard worker who is willing to do anything to help the team! He is a smart player who always shows up with a great attitude!
Nolan O. - ERMS 8th Grade Boys Basketball
Nolan has been running the offense and defense from the point and has been making everyone else’s job easier. He comes to every practice with a big heart and drive to get better and to compete each day.
Charley M. - Girls Swim and Dive
Charley is a first-year swimmer for our team. She has been working hard to get herself ready for our swim meets. At our first meet this week, Charley swam our hardest race and did a wonderful job. She never once complained about being put in the race and went out and gave it her best. Her determination to improve is what makes her one of our swim athletes of the week.
Fern V. - Girls Swim and Dive
Fern is a returning swimmer who has made huge improvements from last year to now. Fern commented recently that last year she was nervous about swimming the 200-meter race and that this year it is easy. At our meet this week, Fern placed 3rd in this event, earning her team valuable points. Fern has a smile on her face at all times and is a joy to have as part of the team.
Brennan J. - NRMS 7th Grade Boys Basketball
Brennan has been a key player on both ends of the court this season. He is a true leader who motivates our team with a positive attitude and relentless work ethic. Brennan works hard every day to improve his skills. Congratulations to Brennan for an outstanding week on the hardwood!
